Tassimo does not work.
There may be no power supply. Check that the appliance is properly plugged into the power supply.
Brewing unit cannot be closed completely.
The piercing unit or T Disc holder may not be properly inserted. Insert the T Disc holder and piercing unit properly.
The brewing unit may not be closed properly. Push the clamp down firmly until it clicks audibly into place.
Water is dripping from the brewing unit.
The T Disc may be damaged or leaking. Stop the brewing process, remove the T Disc and clean the brewing unit.
The piercing unit may not be inserted or not inserted properly. Check to ensure that it is inserted properly.
Water is on the surface under the cup stand.
This is from condensation. Condensation may occur and this is not a problem. Remove the excess water by wiping with a soft cloth.
Service T Disc is damaged or lost.
The Service T Disc must always be used for cleaning and descaling purposes. Look for it in the storage compartment at the back of the appliance.

Automatic Mode” is not working. The appliance remains in “Stand-By Mode"
No T Disc may have been inserted into the appliance. Check to see if one has been inserted.
The barcode may not have been detected. Clean the bar code reading window, smooth out the barcode on the T Disc with your finger, and try again.
Use another T Disc.
Automatic Mode” skipped and the appliance goes straight to “Manual Mode"
The barcode may not have been detected. Clean the bar code reading window, smooth out the barcode on the T Disc with your finger, and try again.
Use another T Disc.
You may still prepare the drink by holding down the Start/Stop Button.
“Fill Tank Symbol” lights up even though there is sufficient water in the tank.
The float in the water tank may be stuck. Clean the water tank and ensure that the float can move.
“Fill Tank Symbol” and “Descale Symbol” flash simultaneously and it is not possible to prepare a drink.
This is an error. Turn the machine off using the “On/Off” Switch. Wait 5 minutes and turn the machine back on. If both symbols are still flashing, please contact Tassimo at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271).
“Descale Symbol” flashes even though filtered or softened water is being used.
The filtered water may contain small amounts of dissolved lime. Please descale the appliance according to the instructions mentioned above. You may buy descaling tablets from your local dealer.
Tassimo brews but no drink is dispensed.
The water tank may have been removed during the brewing process or there may be air in the system. Replace the water tank into the appropriate position. Start a cleaning process with the Service T Disc.
The float in the water tank may be stuck. Clean the water tank and ensure that the float can move.
