  • There may be no power supply. Check that the appliance is properly plugged into the power supply.

     
  • This is from condensation. Condensation may occur and this is not a problem. Remove the excess water by wiping with a soft cloth.

     
  • The water tank may have been removed during the brewing process or there may be air in the system. Replace the water tank into the appropriate position. Start a cleaning process with the Service T Disc.

    The float in the water tank may be stuck. Clean the water tank and ensure that the float can move.

     
  • The filtered water may contain small amounts of dissolved lime. Please descale the appliance according to the instructions mentioned above. You may buy descaling tablets from your local dealer.

     
  • The barcode may not have been detected. Clean the bar code reading window, smooth out the barcode on the T Disc with your finger, and try again.

    Use another T Disc.

    You may still prepare the drink by holding down the Start/Stop Button.

    How to find your Model Number (E-Nr)

    Please click here to locate the data tag on your appliance. The data tag contains your Model Number (E-Nr).

     
  • The piercing unit or T Disc holder may not be properly inserted. Insert the T Disc holder and piercing unit properly.

    The brewing unit may not be closed properly. Push the clamp down firmly until it clicks audibly into place.

     
  • The Service T Disc must always be used for cleaning and descaling purposes. Look for it in the storage compartment at the back of the appliance.

    If you have lost the Service T Disc, you may buy another one at www.tassimo.com or by calling Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904.

     
  • The float in the water tank may be stuck. Clean the water tank and ensure that the float can move.

     

     
  • Warning: Vinegar is never to be used in the cleaning and descaling of the Tassimo. Do not immerse the appliance in water, use a steam cleaner or use scouring agents. Wait until the piercing unit is cool before removing or cleaning as it can get quite hot immediately after brewing.

    To clean:

    • Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
    • Wipe the barcode scanner with a soft, damp cloth so that the appliance can scan the barcode on the T Disc properly.
    • Rinse out the water tank and filter cartridge holder by hand and with water only. Do not place in the dishwasher. The lid of the water tank and the Service T Disc should also not be washed in the dishwasher.
    • Remove the T Disc holder, the piercing unit and the drink outlet and clean thoroughly. These can be washed in the dishwasher. All parts related to the cup stand can also be washed in the dishwasher.
    • If preparing a number of drinks one after another, the piercing unit may be manually cleaned quickly and easily by holding it under running water.
    • We recommend that you clean the brewing unit regularly using the Service T Disc

    To clean the brewing unit:

    • Remove the filter cartridge.
    • Fill the water tank with water to the max mark and reinsert into the appliance.
    • Turn the appliance “On” and place a large cup that is a minimum of 8 oz. onto the cup shelf under the drink outlet.
    • Lift the lid of the brewing unit and place the Service T Disc in with the barcode facing down.
    • Press the “Start/Stop” Button. The cleaning process will begin and dispense water into the cup. When the cleaning process has finished, empty the cup and put it back on the cup stand. Repeat this step 4 more times.
    • When finished, open the brewing unit and remove the Service T Disc. Store the Service T Disc at the back of the appliance behind the water tank.

    To descale:

    • If your Tassimo has a water filter, remove the filter holder and cartridge before descaling your Tassimo.
    • Remove the water tank and fill with water and the descaling product according to the descaling product manufacturer’s directions. Place the water tank into the appliance.
    • Insert the Service T Disc into the brewing unit with the bar code facing down.
    • Remove the cup stand and insert in its place a cup that holds a minimum of 17 oz. Place this cup under the drink outlet.
    • Press and hold the “Start/Stop” Button down for approximately 3 seconds. The descaling program will now start and will last for approximately 20 minutes. The “Stand-By” icon will light up after the descaling program has run for 20 minutes. Empty the cup and replace it under the drink outlet.
    • Rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with water up to the max mark. Insert the water tank back into the appliance. Open and then close the brewing unit, ensuring that the Service T Disc is still in place. Press the “Start/Stop” Button. The machine will now rinse itself. Once this cycle is complete, empty the cup and replace it under the drink outlet. Repeat this step 3 more times.
    • The descaling program is now complete. Open the brewing unit and remove the Service T Disc and store it in the compartment located at the back of the appliance.
    • If your appliance uses a water filter, place the filter holder and cartridge back into the water tank. The cup stand can now also be placed back into the appliance. Your Tassimo is now ready for normal usage.

  • No T Disc may have been inserted into the appliance. Check to see if one has been inserted.

    The barcode may not have been detected. Clean the bar code reading window, smooth out the barcode on the T Disc with your finger, and try again.

    Use another T Disc.

     
  • This is an error. Turn the machine off using the “On/Off” Switch. Wait 5 minutes and turn the machine back on. If both symbols are still flashing, please contact Tassimo at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271).

     

     
  • The T Disc may be damaged or leaking. Stop the brewing process, remove the T Disc and clean the brewing unit.

    The piercing unit may not be inserted or not inserted properly. Check to ensure that it is inserted properly.
